chocolate brownie cheesecake




resepi ni saya amik dari web kak farida..try wat memang sodapp..nyum nyum..betambah gumuks la camni..huhuh...resepi seperti di bawah! enjoy trying :)

Chocolate Brownies Cheesecake

Ingredients

3/4 cup all purpose flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp baking powder (a pinch la kot)

1/8 tsp baking soda

1 2/3 cup granulated sugar, divided

3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted - (note : 1 stick is about 113g)

5 eggs

1 pound (450 g) creamcheese at room temperature

1 tsp vanila

Method

1. Preheat oven to 350 F (that's about 175C). Lightly butter and flour a 9 inch spring form pan (i just use the normal pan)

2. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. set aside.

3. Combine 1 1/3 cups of sugar and melted butter in a bowl and mix thoroughly with spoon or whisk. Add 4 eggs, mix thoroughly. Fold in dry ingredients, mixing only long enough to make a smooth batter. Pour batter into prepared pan, reserving 1/2 cup for marbling.

4. Beat together remaining 1/3 sugar and creamcheese with electric mixer till smooth and light. Add vanilla and 1 egg and mix till evenly combined. Pour this batter into the center of the brownie batter, keeping it away from the side of pan.

5. With a teaspoon, carefully spoon the remaining brownie batter around the top of the cake. Run a knife through the pools of browine for marbled effect.

6. Bake until edges of the cheesecake begin to shrink from the sides of pan and the centre is set but still moist, 30 -40 min. IF the top browns to quickly, cover the cake loosely with foil. Cool completely on a rack and chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
